Case study

Forza Leasing turns a Thursday purchase into a Monday delivery

Forza Leasing leases and sells cars from Roskilde to customers who rarely want to wait. With Bahn, a car paid for in Sweden on Thursday was with its customer, prepared and inspected, on Monday afternoon.

With Bahn we have lowered our import and export costs significantly. That means a lot when the leasing industry is under the price pressure it is right now.

Forza Leasing sells and leases cars from Roskilde, west of Copenhagen. Jesper Hansen is its managing director and responsible for sales and leasing. Before Bahn, the company used several transport partners, and they shared a weakness: cars were reloaded along the way, delivery times slipped, and it was hard to know where a car actually was.

Thursday in Täby, Monday with the customer

One order shows what changed. A customer needed a car quickly, and the car was in Täby, north of Stockholm. Forza paid for it on Thursday. Bahn collected it on Friday at 11, and on Saturday it was at Forza's address in Roskilde, so the tracker could be fitted and the rest prepared before the inspection.

The car passed its inspection on Monday morning and was delivered to the customer, ready to drive, on Monday afternoon.

Booked in one pass, documented in the portal

Jesper books every transport in the portal himself, without a phone call: where to collect, where to deliver, in one pass. He adds the seller's phone number and email, uploads the front page of the purchase contract so the driver collects the right car, and types in the VIN, which the portal resolves to the car's data. A map beside the form shows the route, so a pickup in the wrong place is caught before anyone drives.

The CMR is issued in the portal too, as an electronic document, so nothing has to be printed and filed. The result Jesper mentions last is the one that matters most to a leasing company under price pressure: import and export costs are down significantly.
